This family trip is open to anyone ages 16+. Deadline for deposit and paperwork is Jan. 31.
This team usually spends the first week in training and preparing for kids’ arrival – various types of construction and support skills are needed. The second week is a full English camp experience with camp kid participants.
L’Arcada Christian Camp is located in the lovely foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains in the northeast corner of Spain. The team will be staying near the town of Banyoles, a scenic two hour drive north of Barcelona in the province of Catalunya.
The camp offers basketball, adventure, Native American, English and family camps through the summer months, teaching campers about Jesus and biblical truths. It was founded in 1990 by GEM * missionaries David and Debbie Frank as a means of reaching Spaniards for Christ. The first camping season in 1991 had 32 kids and this year they are expecting more than 1,000 campers and counselors to take part. The main camps are Native American, basketball, family, and adventure camps, which are located on 763 beautiful acres. During the past ten years, work teams from the United States have used their skills and resources to help construct many of the facilities needed for this successful Christian camping ministry.
