Join our CF global worker Jon Woodruff in a trip to Haiti. This trip could include: Evangelism and VBS outreaches in local villages, sports clinics for children (they love soccer), ministry to orphans and light to heavy construction projects.
Since the devastating earthquake hit Port au Prince. The United Nations reports that only 2.5% of the “rubble” has been removed. Thousands of people continue to move out of the city to the country side and villages. Christ Fellowship partnered with a 400 member Haitian village church during our construction mission. The church has grown to over 1000 attending and seeking refuge due to the migration to the country. These Haitian church leaders have asked us to send more teams to help the people and help with construction.
These trips are an ongoing effort to establish community transformation to a devastated area. We will continue our partnership with Pastor Pierre, Gain Ministry, and Xtreme Mission Adventures at this 150 acre ministry facility outside of Port au Prince. The vision is to establish a school, church, hospital, clinic, orphanage, vocational training center, and an agricultural growing/training area. The goal is for locals to be trained, and then take ownership through labor and efforts.
