Short-term mission trips are life changing! They are often described as a 1-2 week spiritual boot camp and a water-walking experience with the living God. Yes, they are hard work, but they are so worth the effort!
Come learn how you can be part of a trip (family or adult) that will change your life while touching other’s lives as well! We will meet Jan. 11, 12:30–1:30 pm in Room 204. For more information, contact Mary Matlock at or 972.547.7034.
Spain | May 1-17
Uganda | June 25-July 11
Guatemala | March 7-14
Asia | May 8-18 and Oct. 8-18
Stepping outside of your daily routine, comfort zone, and culture, and experiencing another culture where your only agenda is to be responsive to God’s leading moment by moment, has a way of impacting you the way no other experience can. Short-term trippers go out on faith, and return from mission trips on a spiritual high, having experienced God and kingdom work in a way so totally different from anything they’ve experienced back home. Many go back again and again. Be prepared for a spiritual renewal! You will be a tremendous blessing to those you serve, but you will be blessed 10-fold from what you give for God’s glory.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”
– Mark 16:15.
We’ve planted 15 churches in the villages of central Uganda with our partner Victory Living Word Church. We’ve dug six deep, clean, life saving water wells in six of those villages. Every $8,500 donated allows us to bring safe, clean water to another village and to raise the value of our church plant in that community.

Starting new churches is an important aspect of Christ Fellowship, both locally and globally. Our goal is to plant churches around the world and we are part of developing churches in Europe, Africa, Cuba, New Zealand, Asia and even in Texas! Be part by supporting missions and global workers, and by going on a church planting trip.
As a local church, we recognize that we are stewards of God’s resources and are accountable to Him, but we also recognize that we can’t do everything. We must choose where to invest the resources entrusted to us to make the greatest impact for the Kingdom of God. Read more about our areas of strategic focus and partners
We train and send out Christ Fellowship Global Workers, as well as support Global Workers that align with our strategy. We provide Global Worker families a portion of their financial support, along with regular prayers and other tangible tools to aid their ministries. It’s a privilege to have such a dynamic relationship with our Global Workers. Meet our Global Workers
If your answer to any of these questions is “Yes,” the sending program at Christ Fellowship may be a good place for you to start. We are here to aid people in the Christ Fellowship family to prepare for service in global ministries. It is designed to help confirm God’s call to full-time service and to lay the ground work for future service.
We’re here to help you explore God’s will for your future and how it may relate to Christ Fellowship. Contact the Pastor of Missional Life, Rafe Wright, and decide if our program is right for you. Call the church at 972.547.7000 and ask for Missional Life.
If your life circumstances prohibit you from going on one of these trips, you can still participate in a significant way through prayer and financial support.
Be a “sender” by making a financial gift. Give online or in services (please clearly designate the name of the Global Worker or trip you would like to support on the memo line).
